Kids Corner – open during school holidays from Sunday to Friday inclusive, from 5.00pm to 9.30pm the Kids Corner welcomes your children from 4 to 10 years old. Games and different activities like painting, making-up, folding, modelling games, discovery games are in the program. Suitable cartoon or videos are displayed as well.
Luggage :
Our concierge and his team will take care of your luggage upon your arrival. In case of an early arrival or late departure, it will be stored in our luggage room.
Laundry :
Laundry and ironing services are available in the Hotel. Dry cleaning is provided by an external company.
Conciergerie :
The concierge and his team remain at your disposal 24 hours a day : ski passes, restaurant reservation, ski instructors, slopes, snow reports.
Ski room :
Individual lockers including racks to dry your ski boots are at your disposal.
Meetings :
The meeting room is located on the lounge floor.
For larger seminars or conventions, meeting rooms are booked at the City Congress Centre.
Bar :
The barman and his team stay at your disposal from 7.30am to 11.30pm. He suggests a wide range of warm and cold drinks, aperitifs, after-dinner drinks, as well as numerous different cocktails.
Christiania history :
The construction of the Christiania Hotel began during the 1948 summer and was achieved in February 1950. At this date, Mr. Paul Bertoli inaugurated his 30 rooms, each with a complete bathroom and a phone, which was “a première” at this time in the French Alps. He and his wife, were used to host during the 50’s and the 60’s, personalities from the Gotha, movie stars and wealthy families from the whole world.
In 1977 after his father’s death, Philippe Bertoli, 22 years old, carried on managing the hotel. After a first renovation in 1986, he achieved for the Olympic Games in 1992, the complete reconstruction and extension of the hotel adding an indoor swimming pool and other facilities.
Since this date, he has been keeping on investing every year to make the “house” more attractive and comfortable in respect to the family tradition.
